Satellites Down was stitched together as something of rock n' roll Frankenstein - two Florida singer-songwriters - Jeremy Thomas and Andy Stafford - joined forces with a band (Sean Colpoys on bass and Eric Bice on drums) that had backed both artists over the years on separate journeys. Not all of Satellites Down fits into the alternative rock pigeonhole, as several of the band’s songs experiment with rhythmic change-ups...melodies that run on like a river...and some of the most soulful singing in today’s rock world. There are also songs that are anthem-like. It all adds up to a powerhouse rock band.
